Here's a little bit about Nubica. Formed in Jakarta in the year 2009, Bimo Sarwono (former guitarist of Satire), Adha Riantono (drummer of Several Bad Pun Laters) and Karim Harahap (former vocalist of Glass and Glow) were playing together in a band together that started way before 2009. Then they met Donna Dudley (former soloist and vocalist of Flatline) and they all seemed to connect because of a bunch of similarities in life and music. They all look forward to a life full of music which is why they picked the name “Nubica”, which means “the sun”. They’d like their music to spread and last long like the sun. We believe every band portrays their expressions to their music which therefore makes each band one of a kind, just like the sun, Nubica.
